Department Overview
The Department of Electrical Engineering was established in 1990 and is one of the founding departments of I-Shou University. Currently, it offers a comprehensive range of programs, including a bachelor's degree, master's degree, doctoral degree, bachelor's degree for continuing education, and a master's degree for working professionals. With rigorous and solid training, our students are well-equipped with the skills and opportunities for further education and employment.
Curriculum
The curriculum covers three major areas: "Communications and Optoelectronics," "Control and Intelligent Technology," and "Energy and System Technology." Our faculty members are dedicated and passionate about teaching, offering a diverse and rich range of courses. These include specialized courses in artificial intelligence, robotics, biomedical sensing, green energy, smart grids, the Internet of Things, optoelectronics, Industry 4.0, and semiconductors.
